Parks and Conservation: Federal Legislative Update
Representatives of the Trust for Public Land (TPL) Federal Affairs team provide information and guidance about federal policy and funding resources to a wide range of interested parties, including congressional, administration, and agency staff, local and state land trust activists and government officials, and other national conservation groups. This concurrent session will provide an update of current and pending federal legislation effecting conservation efforts and funding.

Concession or Not to Concession This session will explore and present decision making processes in determining when and agency or organization should enter into concession contracts for guest service or self operate concessions. This session will also include basic information on developing business plans as a part of the decision making process.

Pokagon State Park Tour
Take a tour of the park and learn about the facilities and history of Pokagon State Park. You will also learn about the overall treatment of the park operations and have a more focused look at the Toboggan Run and Nature Center.
